Many websites disable copying and pasting. Apparently, this is some kind of a security measure. But it always looks like an inconvenience to me.

This bookmarklet force enables copy-paste on those websites which disable them. After saving this bookmarklet, whenever you’re on a website which is disabling copy-paste, tap on this bookmarklet.

Mobile users might not be able to drag and drop the link to their bookmarks bar. Instead, you can do this -

  1. Copy the code by tapping the button below.
  2. Create a new bookmark on your mobile browser, give it a title like ‘CopyPaste’ and paste the code in the URL of the bookmark.
  3. Whenever you want to force copy-paste to work on a website which disables it, search and select this bookmark.
